Adding RosterBird Bot to Slack channels

When you're configuring roster channel notifications, we will only be able to display 1000 channels at a time and those that you belong to. If you cannot find the channel you're looking for in the list, you can add @RosterBird bot to that channel so that it will be returned to the top of the list.

Also, if you want to configure Roster notifications to private channels, you need to add the bot to those channels as well.

Adding RosterBird bot is straightforward. Head to the channel you want to add and do an @ mention of the bot's name which is @RosterBird. You will then receive an option to invite the bot to the channel.

Select "Add to Channel" and the bot will be added to the channel. You will now be able to select the Channel for your Roster channel notifications.
